How to activate an Android device

Protected & managed deviceInstall the Customer app
Download the Customer app from this page onto the device and install it. Allow installation if your phone asks.
Let your dealer set it up
Your dealer completes a quick one-time setup so Xpress Key can protect the device.
Scan the dealer's QR code
Open the app — the scanner starts automatically. Point the camera at the QR code your dealer shows you.
Confirm & activate
Check that the device details match, then tap Activate. The device is now protected.
Unlock or remove later
If the device is ever locked, enter the one-time code from your dealer to unlock it. Protection can be removed the same way, with your dealer's code.

How to activate an iOS device

Automatic or manual setupYour dealer prepares the device
The dealer links your device to your account before you begin.
Choose how to set up
Automatic: for eligible devices, protection is added during the first-time iPhone setup — nothing to do.
Manual: open the setup link your dealer sends you on the device.
Approve the setup
For manual setup, go to Settings → General → VPN & Device Management, tap the Xpress Key item and choose Install.
You're protected
The device finishes setup and is now managed and protected — it will appear in your dealer's admin panel.

Managers and sub-admins set a 6-digit PIN the first time, then enter it on each login for extra security.
